I’ve decided to change the licensing on my photos going forward.  Previously I was using the Creative Commons license that permits use but not for commercial purposes.  The truth of the matter is that if anybody used my photos for just about any purpose I’d be thrilled.  If somebody makes some money off my photos, but I get credit for it, then maybe that helps build my reputation a bit.

So going forward I’m now going to be using the “share-alike” Creative Commons.  Basically my photos can be used for any ppurpose, including commercial, but any modification must also have the same rule applied to them.  I figure that way I do the most I can to encourage use of my photos which is what I really care about at this point.
